What you will learn:
This first module will help you teach basics of aerial fabric so you may assist your students from floor to sky. You will receive a curriculum to teach that includes warm up, strength training, basic climbs, work in a single and double foot lock, and a cool down. You will learn ways to make aerials accessible to anyone, proper body mechanics, and ways to challenge your students.

This is the first of 6 modules.

Your instructor:
Amy Ell has been performing and teaching aerials in both the United States and Europe since 1989. She is an Exercise Physiologist, Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® Master Teacher, Pilates instructor, Thai Massage Therapist, Professional Dancer (both in the air and on the ground), and Circus Aerial Coach/Performer. Amy’s specialties are fabric, single and double point trapeze, and vertical dance/harness work. She brought organized aerial training to the Houston area when she opened VauLt Houston. After 10 years operating a studio, she is now traveling and teaching trainings for teachers and professional performers. You can find her this summer (her 9th year) at the Irish Aerial Dance Festival teaching intermediate and advanced fabric.
